|GARY A. TERASHITA – PRESIDENT
Gary Terashita became president of Freedom Congress upon its forming in November 2010. He spent 1988 through 2011 in book publishing working for two Christian publishing houses and one large New York house. In the latter years working with some of the most accomplished Americans in Christianity, politics, business, and the military, it became crystal clear to Gary our country is in deep trouble. Gary united with a number of men and their wives to cast the vision for Freedom Congress because of his realization of America’s decline, the attack on Christianity, and his burden for his children and grandchildren. Gary and Kim have been in a blessed marriage since 1972. They have three grown children and twelve grandchildren. They live in Hermitage, TN.
|MIKE PETERSEN – VICE PRESIDENT
Mike Petersen is presently a District Manager for Tyndale House Publishers. From 1992 until 2000 he owned Multnomah Graphics/Printing, Inc., a consulting and production company that produced Bibles and biblical reference tools for the industry. John Kohlenberger and Petersen produced many Bible products for Zondervan, Thomas Nelson, Broadman & Holman, Oxford, and Eerdman’s. During this time Mike also produced some facsimile copies of ancient biblical manuscripts. Following a heart attack at the end of 1999, Mike closed Multnomah and eventually went to work for Tyndale. Mike has relationships with hundreds of Christian bookstores and churches and a deep love for history, America, and God. Mike has been married for thirty-three years, has three children, including a son serving in the Army and a son-in-law serving in the Coast Guard, and seven grandchildren. He lives in Oregon.

Oliver North is the host of War Stories on the Fox News Channel, the author of American Heroes in Special Operations and the founder and honorary chairman of Freedom Alliance, a foundation that provides college scholarships to the sons and daughters of service members killed or permanently disabled in the line of duty.
|LTGEN (RET) WILLIAM “JERRY” BOYKIN
William Boykin joined what would become the world’s premier Special Operations unit, ¬Delta Force-in 1978. The only promise: “a medal and a body bag.” What followed was a life spent with America’s elite forces bringing down warlords and war criminals, despots and dictators. From Vietnam to Iran to Mogadishu, Lt. General Jerry Boykin’s life reads like an action-adventure movie. His first book, his memoir, Never Surrender, published in 2008. He has since published two novels, Danger Close and Kiloton Threat. Today he is an ordained minister with a passion for spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and encouraging Christians to become warriors for God’s Kingdom. He lives in Virginia.

Jim DeMint, United States senator, South Carolina, is also chairman of the Senate Steering Committee. He understands a country’s greatness is found in its people and values, not its government. For standing up against wasteful spending in Congress and saving Americans nearly $17 billion, a Wall Street Journal editor called DeMint the “taxpayers’ greatest ally.” Furthermore, DeMint was ranked as the Senate’s most conservative member by National Journal and as the No. 1 senator voting for responsible tax and spending policies by the National Taxpayers Union. He is the author of Saving Freedom and The Great American Awakening. Jim and his wife, Debbie, have four children, are doting grandparents, and live in Greenville, South Carolina.

A U.S. Army veteran, he was awarded three bronze stars as a Green Beret in Vietnam. It was there, in the trauma and uncertainty of war, that Stu committed himself to a lifetime of vocational ministry for Christ and His Kingdom. Stu is the best-selling author of several Gold Medallion finalists, Tender Warrior, All the King’s Men, Four Pillars of a Man’s Heart, and Spirit Warriors. He has also written the Matthew volume in the Holman New Testament Commentary series. His latest release is Infinite Impact. Stu and Linda have been married for over forty years, have raised three sons, and are now greatly enjoying grand parenting six grandsons and three granddaughters, so far. They live just outside Portland, Oregon.

Bob Hamer is a 26-year veteran of the FBI, having worked organized crime, gangs, terrorism, and child exploitation. Although he prides himself on his career of successful undercover assignments, he has also served as case agent or co-case agent on some of the most significant headline-grabbing investigations by the Los Angeles office of the FBI. These include: the LA Mafia Family case; the Eddie Nash case (of the Laurel Canyon Murders, John Holmes, Boogie Nights and Wonderland fame); and the July 4th shooting at the EL AL ticket counter at LAX. Now retired, Bob is the author of his memoir, The Last Undercover, and the novels, Enemies Among Us and Targets Down. Bob and his wife live in Southern California.
Kay Hiramine: By the grace of God, the Lord has led him to be a servant leader in many non profits (NGOs), churches, and companies. He is a serial entrepreneur who also been inspired to be a philanthropic venture capitalist to create sustainable jobs for the poor in many needy places around the world. Kay’s passion is as a global humanitarian who is committed to the poor, needy, and those who cannot help themselves—motivated by his commitment to Jesus Christ through the divine scripture of James 1:27. Utilizing his gifts as a global networker and catalyst he is forever committed to serving the poor, orphans, widows, and needy around the world. Kay, his wife, Julie, and their five daughters live in Colorado Springs, CO.
Gunnar Simsonsen: Most recently, Gunnar was charged with overseeing all aspects of various retail businesses for Dr. Robert Pamplin in Portland, Oregon. These wide ranging businesses included: Christian Supply Christian Bookstores, Your Northwest Gourmet Food and Gift stores, Chateau Benoit Wine Tasting/Gift Cafe’s, and the Historic Shaniko Hotel. Currently, Gunnar is working on developing his social media platform, leadership consulting practice, and various marketing/speaking opportunities while expanding his reach outside of the CBA industry. Gunnar is married to Traci and they have one child, Kira, they live outside Portland OR.
Michael Mastrodonato: In October, 2005 Michael A. Mastrodonato joined Humanitarian International Services Group full time as Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel. Mr. Mastrodonato is retired from the United States Naval Reserve from 1988 through 1995. Mr. Mastrodonato’s Bar Membership includes New York State, Fourth Judicial Department and United States District Court, Western District of New York. Michael lives with his wife of nearly thirty years, Cynthia, and their two children, Michael and Daniel in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Chuck Holton: Chuck Holton is a bestselling author, international reporter, photographer, video producer, public speaker, adventurer, businessman, and most importantly husband to one wife and father of five children. Chuck, Connie, and the gang live in West Virginia.
Thomas Kilgannon: Thomas Kilgannon serves as the President of Freedom Alliance, an educational and charitable foundation dedicated to preserving the American heritage of freedom and defending U.S. sovereignty. He is also the author of Diplomatic Divorce: Why America Should End Its Love Affair with the United Nations.
